E-Map

E-Map testing combines the Science of Acupuncture with Herbal and Homeopathic Medicines.

Acupuncture teaches that the human body is composed of many energetic systems or “meridians”.  Each meridian corresponds to a different organ or system.  Meridians follow specific pathways that either begin or end in the hands or feet.

The E-Map is a device that measures the energy levels of each meridian.  A probe is placed against the skin of the hands and feet.  A graph is generated comparing meridians.

The procedure is painless.  It is a non-invasive way to gain more insight about how to more effectively treat your illness.

There are two E-Map devices at Bio Energy Medical Center and three E-Map Technicians.

An E-Map is performed by one of three Technicians and finishes with a discussion with Dr. Neuenschwander or Dr. Uma about your treatment.

Generally, the appointment lasts 45 minutes, sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on how complicated or simple your case is.

Unless otherwise directed, Dr. Neuenschwander recommends you return every 4-6 weeks for a re-check on the E-Map device.
